Swim, like a pebble

I have been tumbling like a pebble in a stream, between droughts, floods and flows. Now swimming, swimming, ohmming and screaming under water.
Mainly swimming at MSAC. Yesterday I swam 2.5 km in 41 minutes and 40 seconds, which incredibly equates to an average of exactly 1 m/s! And only 2 minutes faster than my personal best ever (when I was 21 years old and in full strength).
So... Ye, I've been well! And always rounder and smoother  thanks to the flow and friction that cut the sharp edges

The mind is the limit - breaking records

Last week, a good friend of mine called me after a long time. There was much to catch up on and didn't want to hang up when I was ready to jump in the pool. But I didn't want to skip my swimming session either. So I jumped in the pool with my earphones on and swam 1km while chatting with my friend. It was beautifully refreshing.
However, I had not achieved my 2.5km target for the day. So the following day, a Friday, I needed to swim an extra 1.5km.
4km in total. 160 laps. 60% more than what I usual

20x20

20 November,
I have swam 20km this month. 1km/day on average.
20$, multiplied by 20 people=a very long distance.

Can you chip in to help me double the impact? ??

WATER_the giver of Life. Let's share it!

How good is a warm shower, yes?! Unfortunately, 1 in 10 people worldwide do not even have clean drinking water close to home.

So, after a tumbling period of flood in my life, this November I'm making a splash in WaterAid's Big Spring Swim to raise money to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation.

With all three, people can unlock their potential, break free from poverty, and change their lives for good. Children grow up healthy and strong, women and men get to earn a living, whole communities start to thrive.

Every dollar raised makes a huge difference.

  • $30 can build a simple handwashing station to help stop the spread of disease
  • $50 can provide a student with clean water at school
  • $150 can help to buy a rainwater tank- so a family has clean water close to home

I'll be swimming 30km. And if we reach the target, I'll chuck an extra 10 in! Please support me today.

And if you want to join the team, please do! Let's swim together:)
