Clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene for everyone!

We are an independent brewery located in Burnie, Tasmania - and we believe in common ground, and shared participation in something good.

Here at Communion Brewing Co, we’re proud to support our community - not just through what we brew, but through what we give back. That’s why we’ve established a partnership with WaterAid Australia, supporting their work to improve access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene around the world.

We can’t brew beer without clean water. For people in the communities where WaterAid works, we know access to clean water is life changing. It means better health, more time for education, safer communities, and a stronger future.

One of the highlights of our partnership is our Annual Charity Ball, a celebration of good food, good beer and good company, all coming together for a greater purpose. Thanks to the generosity of our guests and local sponsors, the proceeds from this event go directly to support WaterAid.

We’ve also launched our brand new sparkling water – and every can sold helps to further support WaterAid’s work - helping deliver clean water and sanitation to communities who need it most.
