The Issue

Around the world, lack of clean, safe, accessible, drinking water is a huge problem. Can you imagine not having safe water at a twist of a tap, or at a tilt of a jug? This is a reality for too many people, and the effect it has on their Education, Poverty, Hunger, Health, and every aspect of their lives is not acceptable.
This simple problem affects 1 billion people around the world and kills 3.5 million every year. It also causes nearly 1 out of 5 deaths under the age of 5 worldwide.
Everyone deserves to have access to this basic right and together we can help achieve this.

What WaterAid Do

WaterAid is a not for profit, international organisation. Thier mission is to transform the lives of the poorest and most marginalised people by improving access to safe, drinkable water.
WaterAid can provide water to communities through:
- Building Wells and Pumps
- Providing Purification tools
- Providing catchment systems
- Training people to manage water supplies
- Influencing governments to change laws
- Changing attitudes and behaviours
- Working with others to pool knowledge and resources
- Rallying support from people and organisations around the world
But for WaterAid to Achieve all this they need our help to fund and support their projects and programs.
My Challenge

My challenge is to Kayak 37kms from Mannum to Murray Bridge self-supported. I have set myself this challenge to raise awareness and to fundraise money for the Water Crisis. I will be starting at 6 in the morning on Saturday, 10th of November. I am hoping that I can do it in around 8 hours.
What you can Do
You too can have a big impact on many peoples lives by donating money to WaterAid to help support them with their projects and Programs. If we are all generous we can together change the lives of entire communities by simply supplying them with safe, clean, drinkable water.
So please donate to my fundraising page to contribute to WaterAid's amazing work to change peoples lives.
