I'm taking part in Winnovators!

This year, I'm taking part in Winnovators. I'll be competing to solve a real-world problem, thinking outside the box to invent life-changing ideas, and transforming people's futures by fundraising for clean water, decent toilets, and good hygiene.

I am one of the ten volunteers from Sydney Water, united by a single mission: to bring clean, accessible water to Papua New Guinea (PNG) communities.

Our team is committed to tackling one of the most pressing challenges of our time: water scarcity and sanitation.

In Papua New Guinea, the stark reality is that 40% of the population lives below the extreme poverty line (UNICEF, 2022).
The water crisis hits hard, with only 19% having access to basic sanitation facilities (UNICEF, 2021).

But there is hope.

Every contribution brings us a step closer to our goal.
