Why we’re walking, running & riding for water this October!
At Sphere Infrastructure, water is at the heart of what we do. Every day, our team works alongside councils and utilities to plan, procure and deliver the infrastructure that keeps safe water flowing in Australian communities.
But we also know that for 703 million people around the world, clean water isn’t close to home. Women and children spend hours walking long distances each day to collect it – time that could otherwise be spent at school, work, or with family. And too often, the water they carry is unsafe, spreading disease and limiting opportunity.
That’s why the Sphere team is proud to take part in WaterAid’s Walk for Water. Together, we’ll be walking, running and riding this October to raise funds so that families everywhere can access safe, clean water.
Just $50 can provide water system tools for a rural community – a small cost that makes a huge difference.
