Why I'm walking for water this October!

This October, I have committed to walking for WaterAid’s Walk for Water to support the mission of making clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene accessible to everyone.

Working in the water industry has deepened my appreciation of how essential access to safe water is to our health, dignity and quality of life. Yet, for millions of people, accessing something as basic as clean water remains a daily challenge.

For me, this walk is a small way to contribute to a cause I care deeply about. Every step is a reminder that access to clean water should be a basic right, not a privilege.

I'd love your support as I take on this challenge! 💙💧

Why I'm walking, running & riding for water this October!

696 million people in the world – almost one in ten – do not have clean water close to home. Every day, women and children walk long distances to collect and carry water for their families. Girls and boys often begin collecting water as children and girls continue to collect and carry water throughout their lives. Many girls spend hours each day collecting water, which can cause them to miss time at school. And not only that, sometimes the water they are forced to collect is dirty, carrying water borne diseases and leading to sickness in their community.

This is why we need your help – we are asking you to walk for water, so that they don’t have to.

By walking, running or riding for five days, you can raise awareness and funds so people around the world can access clean water for the first time.

Please donate to my fundraising page to contribute to WaterAid's amazing work. For just $50, WaterAid could buy water system tools to provide a rural community with clean water.

The more people that know about WaterAid, the more we can achieve together.

Please spread the word by sharing my fundraising page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
