Walk for Water 21 October 2026- 2.15PM Batsman Drive - Support WaterAid Australia

As many of you know, access to clean water and sanitation is something many of us take for granted, yet millions of people around the world still struggle without these basic necessities. WaterAid works tirelessly to improve access to safe water, decent toilets, and good hygiene in some of the world's most vulnerable communities. I would like to encourage everyone to consider making a donation, no matter how small, to support this important cause. Every contribution can help transform lives and create lasting positive change.
As water professionals, we understand better than most the critical role that safe and reliable water services play in improving health, dignity, education, and economic opportunities. Supporting WaterAid is a meaningful way for us to contribute beyond our day-to-day work and help communities build a better future.
If you are able to donate, your generosity would be greatly appreciated and will make a real difference to those in need. Thank you for your support.
As part of WaterAid’s Walk for Water challenge, We invite you to join us on Wednesday, 21 October for a 3.29 km lunchtime walk along the Yarra River to help raise awareness and funds for communities around the world that still lack access to clean water. We will meet at 12:15 PM outside Subway, Batmans Hill Drive, with the route taking us past DFO South Wharf, Crown Melbourne, the Immigration Museum, and Batman Park before returning to the starting point.
