We're taking part in Winnovators!
This year our WSP team is taking part in Winnovators, WaterAid’s development program connecting water professionals with real-world Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) challenges in partnership with WaterAid Nepal. We’ll work together to solve a genuine WASH problem, build new skills, and raise vital funds that directly support WaterAid’s life‑changing work.
Why Nepal?
Nepal’s steep terrain, remote communities and monsoon climate make access to clean water and sanitation extremely difficult. Despite progress, major gaps remain. Today:
– 1.9 million people still lack clean water close to home.
– 4.1 million people don’t have a decent toilet.
– 9.4 million people — around one third of the population — cannot wash their hands at home with soap and water.
– Waterborne diseases remain a leading cause of child mortality.
WaterAid and its partners work alongside local communities to install safe water systems, build toilets, improve hygiene practices and strengthen long‑term WASH systems so solutions last. Every dollar raised helps expand this impact.
