Why Sphere is taking part in Walk for Water
At Sphere Infrastructure Partners, water is a big part of what we do. Our work gives us a real appreciation for just how important safe, reliable and sustainable water infrastructure is to communities.
This October, our Sydney and Brisbane teams are coming together to take part in WaterAid’s Walk for Water — walking, running and riding to raise funds and awareness for people around the world who still don’t have clean water close to home.
For millions of people, collecting water means walking long distances every day, often taking children away from school and adults away from work and their families.
As a team working across water and infrastructure, this is a cause that feels particularly relevant to us. We’re proud to support WaterAid and help create a future where everyone, everywhere has access to clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene.
