Clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene for everyone!
SMEC MSA will be walking along the Parramatta River to raise funds and awareness for WaterAid. The walk will symbolise a fraction of the distances many people around the world still travel each day to collect and carry clean water. We have a vital role to play in our industry to ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all (SDG 6).
Along the way, we'll discuss the importance of clean water, sanitation, hygiene, share perspectives on global water access, and reflect on the impact these essential services have on people's lives. Following the event, we'll share some of the key insights, discussion highlights, and takeaways.
