Why I'm walking & running for water this October!
703 million people in the world – almost one in ten – do not have clean water close to home. Every day, women and children walk long distances to collect and carry water for their families. Girls and boys often begin collecting water as children and girls continue to collect and carry water throughout their lives. Many girls spend hours each day collecting water, which can cause them to miss time at school. And not only that, sometimes the water they are forced to collect is dirty, carrying water borne diseases and leading to sickness in their community.
This is why we need your help – we are asking you to walk for water, so that they don’t have to.
By walking, running or riding for five days, you can raise awareness and funds so people around the world can access clean water for the first time.
Please donate to my fundraising page to contribute to WaterAid's amazing work. For just $50, WaterAid could buy water system tools to provide a rural community with clean water.
The more people that know about WaterAid, the more we can achieve together.
Please spread the word by sharing my fundraising page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!

"Walk" - Foo Fighters A million miles away Your signal in the distance To whom it may concern I think I lost my way Getting good at starting over Every time that I return Learning to walk again I believe I've waited long enough Where do I begin? Learning to talk again Can't you see I've waited long enough? Where do I begin? Do you remember the days? We built these paper mountains Then sat and watched them burn I think I found my place Can't you feel it growing stronger Little conquerors Learning to walk again I believe I've waited long enough Where do I begin? Learning to talk again I believe I've waited long enough Where do I begin? Now For the very first time Don't you pay no mind Set me free, again To keep alive, a moment at a time That's still inside, a whisper to a riot The sacrifice, the knowing to survive That first decline, another state of mind I'm on my knees, I'm praying for a sign Forever, whenever, I never wanna die I never wanna die I never wanna die I'm on my knees, I never wanna die I'm dancing on my grave I'm running through the fire Forever, whenever I never wanna die I never wanna leave I'll never say goodbye Forever, whenever Forever, whenever Learning to walk again I believe I've waited long enough Where do I begin? Learning to talk again Can't you see I've waited long enough? Where do I begin? Learning to walk again I believe I've waited long enough Learning to talk again Can't you see I've waited long enough?

As my breastfeeding journey comes to an end, your support through the tough nights with our daughter has been invaluable. I’m amazed to see you dedicating an extra 8 hours to help such an incredible cause. This cause is particularly close to my heart because my mom grew up in a poor town in Brazil where they didn’t have access to clean water. They would 'shower' in the river and wash dishes there… It may not seem like a big deal to those who’ve always had clean water, but it makes a huge difference for everyone who understands the impact it can have on people’s lives. I’m so proud of you, Ed! You can do it! Keep going! 💪🏻👏🏻🙌🏼
