FOR SCHOOLS

Looking for a school activity that teaches students about healthy habits and global issues at the same time? Then ‘water’ you waiting for? Sign your school up for the Water Challenge now!

The Water Challenge asks students to make water their only beverage for the month of March, and raise funds for their efforts. The funds raised support WaterAid’s mission to transform the lives of the poorest and most marginalised people by improving access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene.

As students learn about the benefits of drinking water and develop healthy habits around their water consumption, they will have the opportunity to appreciate what a valuable resource water is- in particular for the 844 million people who don’t have clean water close to home.

Throughout the month, students can raise funds to support WaterAid’s lifesaving projects, helping people in Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste, Cambodia and India gain access to water.

The Water Challenge is both a fun and educational way for the staff and students of your school to engage with this critical global issue.
